ELLE Hair Studio & Academy was established in 1986 by Simon Koh (Founder & Artistic Director). The initiation of the academy was aimed at nurturing as many talented and potential hairstylists as possible. For years, Simon has taught many talented local and international hairstylists through lectures, seminars, and workshops.
The academy promotes a vibrant yet disciplined environment where passionate and aspiring hairdressers gather and learn from each other, whether in hair styling or soft skills.
Together with his ELLE Artistic Team, they are eager to share all their hairdressing knowledge, skills, and experiences with you throughout the course.

Courses
DIPLOMA
Designed to prepare young stylists for industry experiences, this course is equipped with fundamental theories and advanced & intensive practical training. Students are also given the opportunity to experience being a Salon Apprentice at professional salons at the end of the course.
All training or discussion will be conducted in small groups for which the instructors would be able to focus and be attentive to each student’s learning progress. During the course, students will be introduced to the primary elements and techniques of hairdressing – Hair Wash, Blow-Dry, Cut, Colour, Perm, etc.
This course not only consists of all the basic knowledge and advanced skills of a qualified hairstylist but also provides a pathway to being a professional hairdresser with exceptional soft skills.
Other topics include Salon Management, Professional Ethics, Effective Customer Service & Communication Skills, etc.
